AEBN brings French Cult-Classics to the US
AEBN is pleased to announce the addition of classic titles from Alpha-France, widely considered the crème de la crème among European adult companies, and known since the 70’s for the classics of super-pornstar and icon, Brigitte Lahaie.
ALPHA FRANCE was founded in 1970 by Francis Mischkind and began producing 35mm erotic films in 1972. 1975 marked the beginning of a move towards hard-core productions with the release of Pussy Talk, which premiered in the USA at New York's World Theatre and was an overwhelming success both in the French and US markets, becoming one of the first explicit blockbusters.
Between 1976 and 1983 ALPHA FRANCE produced more than 150 French hardcore 35mm movies, many of which regularly drew attendance in the hundreds of thousands, and today have achieved cult classic status.
In 1977 ALPHA FRANCE discovered a sexy and young French actress by the name of Brigitte Lahaie, a stunning beauty who appears in more than 30 ALPHA FRANCE productions. Today she is an icon in France, and is fondly remembered by scores of men who came of age at that time as the first woman they fantasized about.
The first of these Alpha-France titles are now available on AEBN, to be followed by several more per month. These classic movies are only available on VOD, and there are no plans to release them on DVD in the future.
